A Son

My dad left early this morning for KSA. It was sad. I wasn't there to bring him to the airport so we exchanged some few words thru text instead. The parting words we had were hearthwarming and very much son-and-dad relationship. The thoughts we had was just like of in a soap-opera. "I'm Proud of you", I said. Telling my dad that I'm proud of him felt oh so good. It's the first time I told him that and will now always make him feel special.

Mom on the other hand is for sure very sad as well. We were texting and yes, she was sad. I'm thinking of my mom as a star on her own MTV. She's like standing by the window area, few tears flowing out of her eyes while she's holding her I guess 10 pairs of Havaianas. And the song: I stay In Love with you by MC.
